New stuff for my arsenal!

Hey guys I know I've been MIA lately but I wanted to share some of the things I got recently. So last weekend I got the first the original Givenchy Phenomenon Eyes. Let me tell you loreal don't got nothing on this. The applicator is smaller and longer than the Givenchy which makes it less effective. I also got a lot more stuff from hardcandy from walmart, but until I can add pics I'm gonna hold off on talking about them. I'm testing out a new iPhone app for blogging on the go. So I gotta run guys but Happy Thanksgiving, guys!

Walmart Haul

Hey guys I know this is my first post in awhile and I haven't fulfilled my previous promise, but I'm back with a haul from Walmart. I actually got this stuff like two weeks ago but because I'm a slacker I'm just now getting around to posting about it. When I was in the store I ran across a section of brightly colored packaging and products that stopped me in my tracks. When I finally realized it was Hard Candy I was so excited I picked up a selection of liquid liners and eye duos.

I have been running myself ragged and I haven't had time to devote to my blog. I have done some hauling so I will share that with you look forward to an update Monday cause I'm off work. Pink Zebra Faux Mask

Ok I have ben trying to expand my makeup skillz lately and these efforts inspired me to try some fantasy beauty makeup. This is the first in the bunch, a faux pink zebra mask. :et me know what you think!

So of course most people saw the VMAs last night and Kanye West's hot mess behind. Ok I love the fact that we have the right to say anything we like as citizens of these here United States but do we really have to take this far. There is no excuse for rudeness around here and as many awards as Beyonce has won in there lifetime one loss is not gonna hurt her heart. I think part of the problem is alcohol at these type of functions. People need to keep it classy and stop being such hot messes in their drunken states. Life Update!

Hey chicas! I know I have been MIA for a while now and I'm very sorry. Just to let you know I have made a series of videos covering all of my summer hauling and I should be posting them in a couple of days. Part of the reason I haven't updated in so long is I've been combating a flooding/mold problem that has invaded my closet. My room has been a mess and I haven't felt comfortable enough to sit down and edit my videos. In addition to these videos I have recorded 2 new tutorial videos so stay tuned for that. I promise that I will be updating more and sharing more cool stuff with. Hasta!

Book Reviews and Other Literary Random-ness

Ok so due to my terribly fast reading I have finished my 2 books that I bout yesterday at Target. So firstly, L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad, I was a little iffy about buying this book due to prejudices against the author, but I have to admit it was far from the worst book I've ever read. It was actually pretty good and fast paced with an extensive vocabulary mingled with OMGs and WTFs. It kind of mirrors LC's own life with reality tv stardom and back stabbing psuedo friends. Of course the antagonist is a gorgeous blonde who acts sweet but is really a fame-seeking publicity whore. If you like the drama filled world of The Hills or Gossip Girl you'll enjoy this novel.

I'm a huge fan of the HBO show TrueBlood and because of my lack of cable this summer I was inspired to quench my Sookie Stackhouse/vampire obsession by reading the book series that inspired the show. I have to tell you the books are amazing, dare I say more amazing than the show. After catching up with the second season of the show, I have to say that although I still love the Sookie/Bill relationship in the True Blood universe, the evolution of the Sookie/Eric relationship in the books is absolutely fabulous. The Eric from the books is just as ruthless and crazy as in the show, but you are actually able to see a sweetness that's not really apparent in the show. So to sum this all up I would recommend that you check out the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. The first book fyi is called Dead Till Dark. Happy Reading Everyone!
